Caturano Was Appointed to the Institute’s Board of Directors in December 2008

Richard Caturano, president and CEO of Caturano and Company, New England’s largest regional full-service CPA, consulting, and wealth management firm, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Caturano is one of 23 AICPA board members from across the country, 20 of whom are Certified Public Accountants.

The AICPA is a national professional organization for certified public accountants in the United States, with more than 360,000 CPA members in business and industry, public practice, government, education, student affiliates, and international associates. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public, employers and clients. The AICPA sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, non-profit organizations, federal, state and local governments. It develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination.
