Firm hires Allan H. Cohen, CPA, to manage firm’s compliance with its professional and regulatory responsibilities.
Caturano and Company, New England’s largest regional full-service CPA, consulting, and wealth management firm, announces Allan H. Cohen, CPA has joined the firm as a Vice President and its Chief Risk Officer. Cohen is responsible for managing all aspects of the firm’s strategic risks, including compliance with its professional and regulatory responsibilities.
Prior to joining Caturano and Company, Allan had a 37 year career with Arthur Andersen LLP, where his career included extensive client service experience, along with various senior management roles, including US tax practice director, managing partner/CIO for Andersen’s world-wide tax and legal practices, and partner-in-charge of the New England and Northeast tax practices. He continues to serve Andersen on a part-time basis as one of a small number of individuals with responsibility for the winding down of Andersen’s professional services activities.

Cohen also serves as a Director, Chair of the Audit Committee, and member of the Compensation Committee of Evergreen Solar Inc. (NASDAQ – ESLR). He is an active member on the advisory board of one privately held company, serves as an ERISA Trustee of the Andersen pension and 401K plans, and as a co-trustee of several charitable and other trusts with the Boston Foundation and BNY Mellon. Cohen received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
