Professional Experience:
Patricia is a vice president in the firm’s business risk and controls practice. She has over 20 years of business experience including 15 years of experience in internal audit with particular focus on managing complex operational, financial, and information technology audits. Her in-depth knowledge in the areas of risk assessment, controls, and business processes enable her to provide value-added recommendations for her clients.

Pat also has experience with assisting clients with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements. She has extensive experience in all aspects of 404 compliance, including identifying high-risk processes, documenting controls, evaluating control design effectiveness, developing test plans and overseeing testing. Her approach is to focus on high risk controls and streamline testing. In addition, Patricia works with management to address concerns of their external accounting firm. She services various industries including energy, community banking, manufacturing, and life sciences.

Pat has extensive experience in supervising and training staff on all aspects of internal controls. She has supervised international internal audits and SOX projects involving client personnel in the UK, Mexico, Turkey, Australia, Germany, Italy, and China. Prior to joining Caturano and Company, Pat worked in Arthur Andersen’s business process risk consulting practice.
