Professional Experience:
Matt is a vice president in the firm’s tax practice. He has 20 years of experience assisting clients with tax compliance and planning, transaction advisory services, and utilizing his extensive tax, business, and financial management experience to assist companies with streamlining, integrating, and automating their tax and financial accounting, compliance, research, and knowledge management systems. Matt has significant experience working with both public and privately held companies in a variety of industries including technology, life sciences, distribution, manufacturing, retail and consumer products, real estate, financial services and professional services.

Matt had a successful 17 year career at Ernst & Young (E & Y), where he served many New England based businesses that operated in multiple states and foreign locations with their federal, state, international and FAS 109 tax needs. Matt also served as the practice leader for E & Y’s corporate tax practice. Prior to joining Caturano and Company, Matt was the director of tax at Braver PC.

Matt has spoken on numerous topics including tax compliance, tax practice reengineering, and tax risk management.
