Professional Experience:
Rob is a vice president in the firm’s assurance practice and leads the transaction advisory services group. He has been with Caturano and Company since he began his career in public accounting 15 years ago. During his career, Rob has worked primarily with owner-managed, privately held enterprises, providing operational consulting, efficiency reviews, attest services, tax compliance services, due diligence services, business valuations, and strategic planning. He has worked with numerous companies in analyzing their businesses and implementing short-and long-term business solutions to ensure future success.

Rob’s wide-ranging industry experience includes automobile dealerships, distributors, manufacturers, hospitality and food services, and contractors. He leverages his knowledge of the dynamics of owner-managed and privately held businesses when performing financial due diligence and quality of earnings reviews for his private equity and corporate clients. These relationships have led the owners/shareholders of these businesses to consult Rob for advice when preparing their businesses for sale. In this role, Rob helps to ensure that any unusual, non-recurring items have been properly identified and segregated from the ongoing operating results and that all other financial matters have been properly considered and addressed in the sales process.

Early in his career, Rob was engaged by Safety 1st, Inc., a distributor of child safety products, and a client of the firm, to serve as their purchasing director. His responsibilities included overseeing all domestic and international purchasing, materials planning, and capacity planning. In addition, he led numerous initiatives while working with Safety 1st including inventory reduction, SKU maintenance and reduction, implementation of cycle count procedures, and implementation of bar coding inventory and distribution centers.
