quality services delivered by top talent

At Caturano and Company, we provide audit services to well over 100 employee benefit plans, ranging from traditional single employer 401(k) plans and profit sharing plans, to multi-employer pension plans, and health and welfare plans. In addition to providing traditional audit and tax services, the team has experience with IRS and DOL amnesty programs for delinquent filers and other operational deficiencies. This added expertise has allowed us to react quickly and seamlessly to remedy deficiencies when they arise and minimize exposure for our clients.

The Department of Labor has issued amended regulations eliminating an exemption granted to 403(b) plans from certain annual reporting requirements on Form 5500. The new regulations are expected to impact 16,000 403(b) plans nationally, 7,000 of which are expected to require audited financial statements to be submitted with their 2009 plan year Form 5500.
